hey fellow blog surfers, its me once again. i know, i'm really inconsistent with the whole blogging thing, and so here i am apologising again and again for the disappearing acts. anyway, back to the updates. Life's been pretty peachy since i ended my internship at EY. Since then, i've been bumming around the house, watching dvds, meeting up with friends, cooking for the family, playing with the dogs, etc etc.. well pretty much doing the things i couldn't do while i was working for the past 2.5 months.

i kinda miss working though! ironic huh, just a few weeks ago i was complaining about the long hours and how tired i was, and now when i've got so much time on my hands, i'm bored about being too free. i've been getting alot of 'when are you coming back to EY?'-type of questions from my manager and seniors, well.... i'm using this time off to really consider if i want to persue a career in the audit field for the next few years. yikes. its scary thinking about how fast we are all growing up, and how we've to start making such big career decisions! i'm starting to feel older and older everyday. i've also been spending a significant amount of time with my 2 dearest and closest friends for many years... gillian and sharene. they have been complaining that ever since i got back, they've been spending more money on shopping, taxi fares and are getting fatter from all the suppers and after dinner desserts i dragged them to. so much for the love eh. i just got word that sharene managed to get hold of tickets from her office, to an old hollywood glamour party next friday night at the Asian Civilizations Museum! Cool stuff girl. I'm just looking forward to the MAC door gifts! Can't wait!!!! *stamps feet in excitment*Just before Andrew left back for perth, he made a trip down to my place to visit...not me... but my dog, Bo! And although andrew was slobbered mercilessly by bo, that smelly slime ball of mine loved andrew!

With time on my hands, i've been occupying myself with trying to master the art of baking. I reckon that baking is harder to master than cooking a meal. Maybe its also because i am way more particular with cakes and desserts than i am with my meals. There are so many elements to consider in baking, such as getting the perfect temperature setting, the right texture, the amount of moisture, blah blah. I had the sudden urge to bake blueberry muffins one morning, and i did! My youngest brother liked it, but it wasn't soft and moist enough for me. So i'm going to try an attempt baking it for the second time round.
