The tuesday night special

It was laska for dinner tonight and it turned out pretty good than how i had expected it. Well of course it still no where near the authenticity and richness of the famous nonya laska you get find along katong, but hey it was quite a decent attempt to head back to my family's peranankan roots. And for that, i am happy. Next, Kway Pai Tee.. thanks to Eugene who brought back Kway pai tee shells from my mother. Okay, i must applaud him for handling it with care, not all of them were brutally damaged.

Anyway, after dinner Cheeky, Eugene (who just got back from his longggg holiday) and myself headed down to the Moon Cafe at Northbridge. I was so reluctant to head out because it was already coming close to 10pm and i was already in my Pjs and had brushed my teeth. But the guys kept insisting soooo i dragged myself out into the cold night, also because i don't have school tomorrow la!
