the grey line.

Boohoo. Thanks to eugene who generously handed me 2 seasons worth.... i'm hooked on Grey's Anatomy. Although i must say i've been a good girl. i've so far managed to with hold myself from watching a whole shot of episodes all at once. Hurrah! i have kept to my 1 episode per day routine. so its 1 episode of grey's anatomy after studying. hmmm now lets just see how long that'll last. i bet it'll get more and more intriguing along the way. like they say, 'and so the plot thickens!' hence, making it harder and harder for me to resist.

would it be better to finish them all in a day or 2, then study with no 'grey's anatomy' distractions. OR, continue with my 1 episode a day plan? wah, that would require alot of determination and resistance from me. ahaha. and i'm not the most determined and focused person around. Why must i have to choose between Grey's Anatomy and the exams!?! oh the torture. okay, i have issues.

*exhales* i'm extremely pooped. its not as though i did alot today, but somehow it feels like i had the most exhausting day. for one, i have finally finished my group assignment, after nights of figuring out how to even do the darn thing. i would say, that assignment was clearly the hardest & most tedious one i've ever done in my 3 years! i'm just glad its all over. one of my group mates didn't even do a single thing! our project was just left entirely up to the 3 of us left in the group (andy, eug and myself). i could just go on and on complaining about the incompetence of this group member of mine, yet i shan't. eug & i wanted to strike his name off the cover sheet, but he was so persistent in coming down to submit the assignment with us. haha.. i guess he was probably afraid we would do just that. i'll probably fail his peer appraisal. rah!

so after submitting the assignment, eug,cheeks,mitchell and myself headed to the tavern for lunch. ok for those who don't know, the tav. is this bar within the university itself. well, all the universities here have a tav. this is because all the australians drink so much, even in between classes at 12pm in the afternoon! disclaimer: yesterday was the first time i actually set foot into the tav okay! surprisingly, the food was really quite good. so even if you don't wanna go all 'alcoholic', go there for the yummilicous food. i found it quite hard to believe that anything edible from school would taste good.


as the north zone had to prepare the refreshments for FNL at church that night. everyone was back at my place preparing what seemed lk gazillions amounts of Tuna and Egg sandwiches. the guys baked cookies and it was so funny to watch because guys know absolutely zilch about anything that revolves around baking. the cookies turned out rock hard all because it was left in the oven for way too long. haha, but surprise surprise.. everyone at church must have been very hungry though, for everything was wiped out despite how hard they were! *yaaouch*

i've only got 2 weeks till the end of school. no, one week. i've got exactly 3 weeks till my 1st paper on the 14th of june. and seriously, i haven't started studying all because of the stupid Investment analysis group assignment that is in the way. thats due friday, and once thats out of the way, i then can start on prep for the exams. i do hope i have enough time to finish the insanely heavy amount of materials covered. to think i only hv 3 weeks to do all that.

Anyhoos. Singapore Idol 2006. oh boy, what a stress reliever. i'll let the clip speak for itself. i feel really sorry for these poor poor folks though, to think that even though we're thousands of miles away from singapore, there are people out there still echoing the choruses of laughter.

After worship practice for 13:3o's 'Pay it Forward' event, which btw happens this coming friday, the rest of the worship team stayed behind to play with the little tikes. the worship leaders & some other ministry leaders apparently had some important sound meeting, and so kimmy's 3 kids (marcus, evan & kaitlyn) were left outside the meeting room, running around and shooting styrofoam bullets at each other with evan's new toy run. when i asked marcus & evan what styrofoam was, they replied, 'styrofoam is the thing you put under a fish tank to prevent the fishes from coming out!' wahahhahaa. spoken from the mouths of babes. so cute lar. i was so caught up playing with all 3 of them, so much so we ended up being the last of the team to leave. i felt like a kid again just chasing after them, making a fool of myself infront of them so they could laugh, dodging evan's bullets matrix style, etc. their smiles, giggles, childlike innocence as well as their embraces are just altogether so endearing. especially so when kaitlyn asks u to carry her n when she keeps running to u when she is being chased by her brothers. they say its the 'maternal instincts' that r kicking in. i don't believe so though... i've a very longgggg way more till that even happens. haiiyah, i just loveee kids! doesn't everyone?!?

i don't think you even know about this blog of mine. *if u do i would be quite worried actually. Anyways , i would just like to proclaim to the world how much i love my littlest baby brother!! Wahahaha. There used to be the constant nonsensical sibling disputes and petty quarrels which occured quite often when we were younger... but i'm quite glad those days are long gone now. at least we do not try and aggravate each other as much right. we would fight over who took more famous amos cookies when mummy buys a big 500gram bag, so much so that she has to ask the lady at the counter to split it evenly into seperate bags everytime she buys them. we would fight over the remote control, because whoever held the remote control held the 'power' to change the channels and watch whatever they please... thank goodness we share similar taste in tv programs most of the time. well except for those evenings when i badly wanted to watch my chinese soap operas and you didn't let me just because you were watching spongebob RERUNS even though you watched it lk 3 times before!!! i mean how many times can you watch one spongebob episode?!?

Anyway, my point is.. i'm pretty sure you brought out both the best and worse in me as a sister. through the years i have realised the importance of being a better role model and a loving sister to both you and shaun. even though you can be quite a spoilt brat at times... i pray that our loving heavenly father will continue to see you through past all this rebelious adolesence phase, and mature you in His love, to be a man who constantly seeks and hungers for more of Him. I do apologise for all the times i have not been there for you, more so since i'm thousands of miles away of home. i hope to change all of that once i return for good ya.

Got this photo off Ben's friendster picture profile. Omigosh, this is really funny. I burst out laughing when i saw this photo while friendster-surfing. Disclaimer: Its been a while since i went on friendster ok.. i'm not one of those friendster addicts! Anyway, back to the photo. Yep those boys up there were my JC classmates. Ahhh, the memories. Look at kapil back at the end of the row.... hahahaa.. hilarious. I didn't know the guys were that spontaneous as to take a 'bollywood posed' photograph. Haha, edric's floppy mop of a hair is really 'old school' lah. HAHHA... i could just go on and on. i hope he's not reading my blog though, if not he would have strong violent objections to the comment i just made. i can't believe its been what..4 years since i left jc. everyone looks different now, well since the last time i saw them that is. all grown up, more mature, .... and er...better looking? let me put it this way, definately much better looking as compared to how they looked back in Jc. hehheeehe. perhaps it was the 2.5 yrs of National service that transformed these young rascals into grown men.

my bad.

Just got back from school, from a long & extremely boring, yet still utterly confusing lecture. As well as the most political project meeting i've ever attended. *deep sighs* I have never ever raised my voice at anyone for the longest time until today. and i feel really remorseful about doing so. I guess its just the stress and the tension. one of my group mates started raising her voice at a friend, and i just didn't like the tone she used and how she retaliated when there was a clash of opinions between the both of them. there she was just shouting at suwen, right infront of our new group member who we were just introduced to,which i felt wasn't leaving a very good impression. i tried to tolerate it by just keeping quiet. but she just went on, and yet suwen would answer so politely and patiently. but it just came to a point where i felt i had to bring my big butt in. and i snapped.

i probably shouldn't have done that. but i did. why did i snap? she is really quite a pleasent girl, and she has never done anything to offend me. sig h. the strange thing was, after i snapped at her for raising her voice, i actually left leaving as though i had saved the day. that i had saved suwen from more agonising bashings. but did i? i just made someone else feel much worse. i didn't exempify how a christian sister should react. i felt worse after that. anyway, i personally apologised for my behaviour though and yeah things are fine.

on a side note, the work load is piling up, I've got 2 major group assignments due in the next few weeks and the final exams are coming up in about a months time. I need to get my act altogether, it doesn't help when i've done so badly for my mid semesters and now i need to study twice as much, no thrice.. no quadruplely much harder!! How am i going to get through this semester?! the finishing line seems miles away, and my future looks so bleak. *cries*

alright then, thats my post for the day. got to rush off to worship practice at church now.
