its begining to look alot like christmas...

Woohoo! its finally the long christmas weekend. you cannot imagine how much i'm appreciating this break right now. This is probably the only reason why i'm actually blogging after such a long time. *pheeew. Most of you would know by now that i'm interning at Ernst&Young singapore and so far.... i can't believe i'm saying this but work has been rather.. alright. Made a few good friends at work and i love the new office (there is a fantastic view over looking the singapore river from where we sit... its simply gorgeous!). Well work is probably going to intensify really soon once the audit peak period hits in during mid jan, so i'm expecting more OTs, more money going into taxi fares, less time for lunches and of course less time for a life outside of work. yikes!

On a seperate note, vernon had organised a xmas dinner party last night for all the perthies back in singapore. gosh that boy lives in a hugeeee mansion. we were told to bring some food for the party and i made teriyaki and bbq grilled ribs. my mom insisted on decorating the basket used to put the ribs with ugly xmas streamers just to make it look more presentable. hahaha. it was pretty funny. oh and i also attempted to make white chocolate cranberry fudge slices, which turned out pretty sweet.

Hellooo one and all. First and foremost i would like to apologise to my dear faithful readers out there who do check in on this lil' space of mine once in awhile. i had problems trying to create a post, i think its due to some glitch with the system. anyhooos, most of you would know that i'm back in singapore! and ever since i got back, i've been pretty busy spending time with my family, flew to bangkok with my mom and aunt for a weekend shopping trip, trying to meet up with old friends and at the same time adapting back to the singaporean way of life. well i would love to talk more about my experiences back home, but i've got to rush off with my mummy and aunties for some metro 20% storewide sale. wahahaa. yep the shopping has been killing me toooo.. but i LOVE it.
